IBM said it is bringing a Watson certification for developers on the market.
The move comes as IBM becomes more and more developers and expands the ecosystem for Watson and cognitive computing.
Enter the IBM Watson Application Developer certification, which will prove the following through an investigation:
- Fundamentals of cognitive computing;
- Cases of cognitive computing;
- Fundamentals of the IBM Watson Developer Cloud;
- And developing cognitive applications via the IBM Watson Developer Cloud.
The test was made by a panel of 20 experts in cognitive computing in various industries in which Watson plays: health, banking, commerce, etc., thus a blog post.
If a developer approves the exam, they will identify you as an IBM certified application developer and obtain a digital badge. The exam is delivered by Pearson VUE and can be taken in their test centers. IBM will also offer the exam at its conferences.
